Description:

NTT DATA Services is hiring a Backend and API SDET for its technology delivery hub in Hyderabad. This engineering-centric QA position focuses on validating internal microservices, building robust API test automation systems, and maintaining code health metrics across enterprise architectures. Rather than executing manual testing routines, you will write automated code scripts to validate server-side integrations, manage Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) workflows, and configure system monitoring dashboards. You will closely collaborate with full-stack developers and DevOps engineers to optimize the Continuous Integration pipeline and enforce modern engineering quality limits.

Requirements:

• Strong programming depth in Java coupled with Selenium WebDriver to construct stable, scalable, and modular automation frameworks.
• Proven hands-on expertise building and executing automated validation runs against RESTful APIs and distributed microservice endpoints.
• Advanced proficiency utilizing the Karate framework for unified API automation, along with structuring test suites following Cucumber/BDD syntax patterns.
• Direct experience utilizing enterprise-grade service virtualization and automated testing suites such as Broadcom DevTest (formerly CA Lisa).
• Operational familiarity running analytical log parsing, telemetry tracking, and operational system health checking using Splunk dashboards.
• Experience managing code quality standards, identifying technical vulnerabilities, and inspecting automated test code coverage metrics via SonarQube (Sonar).
• Ability to operate cleanly within fast-paced Agile sprint delivery environments, managing version control commits and debugging system setup failures.
• Crisp analytical problem-solving skills, high attention to software engineering details, and strong communication habits to interact with cross-functional development and consulting teams.
